About

BRad Kilgour Bio

Brad started working at height in 1999 with LeBlanc & Royle Telecom, building communication towers across North America.  Since then, he has spent his time learning as much as possible about working at height, difficult access and technical rescue.  His practical field experience in rope access, industrial and technical rope rescue, fall protection, industrial mountaineering and rigging is well balanced by extensive research into policy, regulations, equipment and standards in each area.

Brad currently spends much of his time conducting field operations providing rope access and rescue services to various industries.  In addition to field work, he teaches courses around the world in work at height, rope access and rescue techniques.  Based on Vancouver Island (in Cumberland, BC) Brad is an active member of the Comox Valley Ground Search and Rescue team, part of the BC Cave Rescue community, and a member of the Mt. Cain Ski Patrol.
